Philippe drives us to Apt to spend time at the fabulous Apt
Saturday market. After lunch he drives us to Aix-En –Provence. We wander
streets and observe various patisseries and local sights. Dinner at Le Clos de
la Violette(Michelin 1*)-great meal marred by presence of smokers(how backward)
but improved by antics of US couple(can you just make me a Caesar salad)-cappuccino
at end of meal but insist on granulated sugar (3 spoons)-drink coffee like soup
with teaspoon popping sugar cubes into mouth between sips!
