17th best turns out to be OK also

Metro to Louvre-only minor queue. See all the big ticket items amid throngs of tourists who all want their photos taken in front of the Mona Lisa. Especially liked the laws of Hannurabi which includes that any surgeon who stuffs up an operation shall have one hand cut off! What wisdom!
Dinner at Pierre Gagnairehttp://www.theworlds50best.com/awards/1-50-winners/pierre-gagnaire/ rated 17th best restaurant in the world, but doesn’t even have a Caesar salad on the menu! Go figure. Sublime meal-each course contained more ingredients than I would buy in year- Wines: Condrieu & Cote Rotie. About 14 desserts, all exquisite. Then invited into kitchen and meet Chef
